Agreement
By accessing or using DevTools at tools.shafyha.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users and subscribers.
Description of Service
DevTools provides a collection of browser-based developer utilities including formatters, generators, converters, image tools and other utilities. Some features require a paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. One person, one account — creating multiple accounts to circumvent paid plan limits is prohibited.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use DevTools to:
- Generate malware, spam, phishing content or other harmful material
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures or paid plan restrictions
- Scrape or automated-extract content using bots (the API exists for legitimate programmatic access)
- Impersonate other users, public figures or organizations
- Upload, transmit or store content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory or violates third-party rights
- Use the messaging system to harass, threaten or spam other users
- Resell or sublicense access to DevTools features without written permission
API Usage
API access is subject to the rate limits of your subscribed plan. Exceeding rate limits returns HTTP 429. You may not share API keys or use them in client-side public code. We may revoke API access for abuse without refund of the current billing period.
API responses may not be cached and resold as your own API service. Reasonable caching within your own applications for performance is permitted.
Payments and Refunds
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All payments are processed via NOWPayments (cryptocurrency). Due to the nature of cryptocurrency transactions, payments are generally non-refundable. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis for billing errors — contact us within 7 days of the charge.
Cancellation stops future charges. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period. Downgrading plans takes effect at the next billing cycle.
Intellectual Property
The DevTools platform, branding, UI and code are our intellectual property. The tools themselves are provided for your personal and commercial use. Output generated by our tools (passwords, UUIDs, QR codes, formatted code, etc.) belongs to you.
You retain ownership of any content you upload or store (notes, links, QR codes). By storing content, you grant us a limited license to store and serve that content to you.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. By using DevTools, you agree to that policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
DevTools is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will not be lost. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Tool outputs (hashes, generated passwords, converted files) are provided as-is. Verify critical outputs independently before using in production systems.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. Upon termination, your data is deleted according to our retention policy.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. We will provide at least 14 days notice for material changes via the notification system for registered users. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, or by mutual agreement through binding arbitration.
