Shapefile Export and Project Files
Shapefile Export
Every layer in GIS Studio can now be exported as a proper Shapefile — the ZIP includes the .shp, .shx, .dbf and .prj files GIS software expects. This sits alongside the existing GeoJSON, CSV and KML export options, giving you a complete round-trip between GIS Studio and desktop tools like QGIS or ArcGIS.
Save and Load Projects
Working across multiple sessions? Save your entire workspace — every layer, its styling, classification rules and group organization — as a single project file. Load it back later and everything is restored exactly as you left it, including layer visibility and the map zoomed to fit your data.
Layer Grouping
Organize related layers into collapsible folders. Create a group, assign any layer to it from that layer's properties panel, and collapse groups you are not actively working with to keep the layer panel manageable on complex projects.
Multi-Format Coordinate Display
Click the coordinate readout in the status bar to cycle between Decimal Degrees, Degrees-Minutes-Seconds (DMS) and UTM — useful when coordinating with teams or systems that expect a specific format.
