DevTools has a new name and a new home — utilio.shafyha.com. Same tools, same GIS Studio, same commitment to privacy, with a name that reflects where we are headed next.

Introducing Utilio

DevTools is now Utilio, available at utilio.shafyha.com.

Why the Change

"DevTools" described what this platform started as — a collection of developer utilities. But we have grown well beyond that: a full GIS Studio for mapping and spatial analysis, and browser games are on the way. The name needed to grow with the platform.

Utilio is meant to capture that broader scope — tools, mapping, and more — without boxing us into "developer tools" alone.

What Has Not Changed

  • Every tool you rely on works exactly the same — nothing was removed or altered
  • GIS Studio continues to expand with new features
  • Same privacy commitment — tool inputs still never leave your browser where possible
  • Same free pricing — nothing that was free is now paid

What Is New

Beyond the name, we are actively working on:

  • Browser games — quick, casual games playable directly on the site
  • More GIS Studio features — attribute-driven feature editing, additional export formats, and deeper analysis tools
  • New utility categories as they make sense
